Plett Tree - Collapsible Pixel Tree
Meet the Plett Tree, a collapsible pixel tree made from 3d printed parts, pvc, some nuts and bolts, some wire, and a lot of love. This tree is fairly easy to assemble, only requires a few tools, is easy to set up, easy to store and can handle the toughest weather. It is 50 inches tall so you can put 50 pixels per leg.
When you incorporate these trees in your show, you can rest assured that you are getting a quality product that should last for years to come.

What’s in the Box - all 3D printed parts will be in USA made White PETG:
- 2 Tree Hubs (These are where all of the pvc parts connect.)
- 11 Clip Hinges (These connect the long PVC pieces with the shorter PVC pieces.)
- 11 Clip Hinges with a Hex-shaped inset (These are the 2nd piece that make up the hinge.)
- 4 Stop Clamps (These hold the top hub in place and dictate how far the bottom hub can slide up and down when expanding and collapsing the tree.)
- 22 End Caps for Pixel Strips (These are end caps that fit in the long PVC pieces that mounting strips can be zip-tied to in order to mount pixels.)
- 11 mounting strips (These are where you push your pixels in order to make the tree go blinky blinky.)
- Hardware
- 1 ¼” #8-32 bolts x 11 (for the hinges)
- 1” #8-32 bolts x 4 (for the stop clamps)
- #8-32 nuts x 15 (for the hinges and clamps)
- Vinyl coated wire x 2 (feeds through the hubs and holds the PVC to the hubs)
- Wire Clips (holds the vinyl coated wire in place)
- Zip ties x 22 (holds the mounting strips to the end caps
